This faculty depends on the National University of Mar del Plata and works within the facilities of the INTA Balcarce since April 1962. It successfully combines the investigation, teaching and the knowledge transfer to the community. It offers the careers of Agricultural Engineering and Bachelors in Production Animal, Vegetable Production and Science and Technology of Foods. At post degree level the careers of Production Animal Specialist and Vegetable Production, also the Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences is added, establishing a greater continuity between their supply of degree and post degree tittles.
This Faculty is, from January 2005, honorary partner of the Local Development Agency of Balcarce.
